No turkey? Awww.. Here they don't want folks to have Thanksgiving gatherings because of COVID and now they're working to stop delivery of produce, dairy, ect. Best to stock up now while we can. All sites systems are down and they've shut their gates so trucks can no longer enter to pickup product. I know this because I'm the supply chain director for a food company that sells refrigerated dairy products. We use this company as a third party logistics supplier and I'm completely unable to ship Thangsgiving orders from any of their sites across the country. I've got a rough day ahead of me workwise to figure out to mitigate any of this. Quoting: SleepysDad Be vigilant. OMG! Is this for real? seriously? What the hell!!! So are you saying that these sites have turned off their power?...or just locked it all up so it can't be distributed? |

I have been there over 20 years. We run dependent on internet access. If we can't get internet we are done. Not many of us there that even remember the days of paper Quoting: Icguy42 That's what I'm saying. They should have had what's called a "WAN Failover" in place that if the primary Internet connection drops, it automatically switched to a secondary Internet connection, usually 4G. If they did it correctly, most employees would never have even known the switch had occurred. You don't even want me to tell you about the power grid networks Riff... You don't have to. I already know. It's our local DHS's number one concern for the city, and I know about the trial runs in South America a few years ago. No, all systems down simply means all systems are down. Could be DNS, could be a bad software patch, could be a simple network outage upstream. Yes, it could also be a hack. But that determination cannot be made based solely on what little information has been provided here. Sounds like someone trying to test run a sabotage mission. Quoting: UTownReturns The vax requires up to -100 which only very specialized and costly coolers can do so that is a no on that. Quoting: TheElephantInTheRoomisBack But maybe? Moderna said theirs can be held in storage for 30 days stable.
