I won't name the specific company, but they have 250+ sites across the country specializing in refrigerated and frozen storage and shipping. All sites systems are down and they've shut their gates so trucks can no longer enter to pickup product. I know this because I'm the supply chain director for a food company that sells refrigerated dairy products. We use this company as a third party logistics supplier and I'm completely unable to ship Thangsgiving orders from any of their sites across the country. I've got a rough day ahead of me workwise to figure out to mitigate any of this.

Well if its a cyber attack, they will be down for a few days until the paperwork can get them back up.

Being the SHTF on a Sunday afternoon, I would say that they tried to update their systems and it failed.

All systems went down means a Hack took them down...

Could this be the initial Cyber Attacks that will take down the Infrastructure of the USA...

Is it being commandeered so that they can use it for vaccine shipment given it has to be kept nearly 100 degrees below 0?

They are gonna need all that cold storage and shipping capability to ship the vaccine around the country. Sounds like someone trying to test run a sabotage mission.

The vax requires up to -100 which only very specialized and costly coolers can do so that is a no on that.

Don't be dumb. They are preparing for vaccine storage and distribution.

I think they likely are going to secure vaccines for distribution but I would imagine that it wouldn't require such a huge operation storage facility that would be nuts.

But maybe? Moderna said theirs can be held in storage for 30 days stable.
