This is getting out of hand for real. Ive tried everything from adding an hour to my workouts to working an hour or two over at work, WTF!!!

Still cant sleep in past 3, it's like my body knows something is up and has went into auto detect mode and it must be expecting something during the early mornings lol.

Yeap. Past 3 nights. Wake up right at 3am. Can’t sleep until an hour later more or less.
It happens from time to time but not 3 nights in a row.
I take melatonin sometimes. Sometimes it works and others it doesn’t.
 Quoting: AgapeTruth

Thats exactly how it started for me, just a couple nights then boom, been months now.

It might actually be a liver problem, as the liver "wakes up for work" around 2 a.m.
 Quoting: Kagnimir 78589715

Well if it is, im fucked, i wont be going to get checked unless its an emergency.

Right here with you! It’s been a nightly thing for me, too.

Mine was nightly as well until it turned into a monthly thing lol. I wanna say around April or May is when my sleep schedule went full on stupid.

Sigh.......Once you get over Fifty....forget about a regular schedule for sleep.....I'll go to sleep any time I feel tired during the day, if I don't get enough sleep the night before.

Im in my early 40's, fairly healthy but i have noticed it more and more over the last 2 or 4 years, which is to be expected.

I'm actually part of the 'doesn't go to bed until after 3am' crew. I've been a hopeless night owl all my life.

Last Night/Morning I was having a dream where everything was in the room I was sleeping in just as it is. The only exception was I looked to my left and there was an Army Officer hiding beside me. I immediately freaked out before I woke up looking the same direction and saw he wasn’t there. Your brain is capable of things you aren’t even aware of. The moment it takes over, you go crazy.

Present and accounted for.

I can't stop reading this site and a few others. I have gotten maybe two hrs sleep a day, usually around 6am and then it's back on the computer as soon as I get up.

Eight of nine kids, and our Dad, all night owls even as little kids, its just how we were...somebody has to take second shift. I love the night because cant go out in sun due to Lupus anyway. Love shopping at 4 a.m, No one in store, could also do the houework and no one tracks up the floors, see more interesting things in the night sky...
Even getting up at 7 a.m. still had to catch the old Art Bell c2c show...when he left came here full time.

When you are older, the only time you sleep through the night is when you have intense thoroughly exhausting raw sex. Then next thing you know after spooning and cuddling all night, you hear songbirds singing, and there's sunlight in the room, and the smell of fresh coffee and bacon frying.

I wouldnt rule anything out at this point.

Normally, when my sleep patterns are off, i can simply stay up all day and night until the time i wanted to sleep. Worked like a charm for 40 years or so but now? Yeah.. not so much lol. Ive tried to reset my clock about 8 times now, its done nothing so i just gave up and simply wake up from 2-3AM lol.

I honestly don’t know what I’d do with that much sleep. Probably feel awful, zombie like.

I average ~2 hours a day. With several days skipped every week.

Tried all sorts of heavy meds to no avail. Brian’s are weird, a lot.

I’d say to try a good indica cannabis, or find something with the right terpenes to help, but know it’s not for everyone.

Good luck getting it sorted!

Just like anything if you take it too much your body could become dependent on it and stop producing it's own melatonin. I've read you should only take a a max of 3mg if you need it every night.
