It's not a magic trick when folks know how you pulled it off

When people see magic they might know its a trick, but whether they do or don't they usually stand in awe and suspend their belief in reality.

The illusion, however, wears off once people know how the trick is done and you can get a wide range of reactions from folks who find out, from those feeling foolish to others wishing they never learned the trick, some even laughing because they realize how easy they were fooled to some even feeling angry because they fell for it.

Sometimes a performance is done so poorly the trick is given away before it is finished, and for those in the craft, will call this "flashing."

So, we know it all. The who, the when, the where and the how. All of it. And once that's shown to everyone the magic will be dispelled, and the illusion seen as the lie for what it is for so many years.

These guys flashed it so bad, they gonna go to da jail!
