No...we are not there yet.

Many generations past have assumed the same, and objectively speaking, with what they endured they would have every right to believe such, but we are not there...yet.

But we are getting there...speedily.

Depravity.

I think this will be a key marker, and anyone thinking that we, or mankind as a whole, cannot become more depraved, need to reassess other civilizations that had become entirely depraved just before their own collapse.

Think Sodom and Gomorrah or Ninevah.

But even Ninevah was saved and mercy extended...for a while.
