Headphones Review : Skullcandy Crusher EVO
These are beyond great. The bass sounds like you have 2 12s strapped to your head. Not sloppy, but excellent in precision. More than 5 times the bass output of Apple Beats, BOSE, Klipsch, Shure, etc.

SQ: 9/10
SPL: 8/10
Bass SPL: 12/10
Bass SQ: 9/10

These shake your jaw and blur your vision. Teeth literally rattle. Uncomfortable to listen with bass maxed, but nice for the option. Bass is not drowning or overwhelming compared to warm mids and vibrant and lively highs. Very well balanced whether you have bass at 10% or 100%.

Adjustable bass sliding control mechanism on headphones for quick tuning. Beyond excellent.

40 hour battery life.
10 minute quick charge gives 4 hours battery life.
Wired option if unable to charge.
TILE location, easily locate Headphones on GPS map and sound alert to quickly hear where they are in home or if you left them on the beach or coffee shop, etc.

Excellent build quality with great appearance.

Headphones collapse to store in small space or provided travel bag which is also high quality. Not waterproof, though! Doh!, for manufacturer!

Only thing I wish... IPX certification would have been nice.

Price: $199.99.

Worth it? I'd pay $299.99 for these.

I'm using LG Quadbeat 3

Cost me €8.33 including shipping. Probably the best headphones (super comfortable and solid neutral sound with good bass) for this price you will ever see anywhere. And they have a 90° angled connector.

And on top of that they have red cables.

For anyone who enjoys loud car audio bass while sounding clean and true, I highly recommend.

The OG Crusher wireless are very comparable, for $112.00 at BestBuy right now.

Very pleased, so I had to write a review.

Re: Headphones Review : Skullcandy Crusher EVO
I hate to bum an dead thread but I know nothing about headphones.

So My question is what headphones have mb quart highs and jl audio lows.

I run RP klipsch and an onkyo in my home but they are harsh on the top and too fat on the bottom over 95db.

I love the sound of old yamaha amps paired old marantz recievers with any speaker.

I want to try some headphones that will get me in this ballpark.

I dont want to give any money to bose.

Any suggestions?

Re: Headphones Review : Skullcandy Crusher EVO
I used to have a few pairs of Beats Pros over the years.

Super-loud, great bass response... a little hyped but really nice.

Now I have a 90 dollar pair of audio-technicas that are flatter but still really loud.

Look into Sonarworks, you can load corrective-eq curves for your particular headphones.

If you REALLY want to rattle your teeth... get a Subpac.

I have a 4 year old model and the thing is still epic.

It makes sound a 3d experience like being at a club/show with huge speakers.

Epic.

If you have money to spend, get a pair of Audeze headphones... they are probably the best out there.

As far as amps are concerned, get a good converter or else the amp is wasted.

For about 200 bucks, you can get top-notch D/A conversion.

The Motu M-2 is less than 200 bucks, sounds fucking fantastic.

Really low signal to noise ratio.
