Literally every kind of boasting is self serving or some emotional self affirmation. This all leads to ego and false pride.

However. Boasting in the Lord. And of his grace goodness and mercy. This actually produces amazing humility and wonderful fruit.

The more you really proclaim God and actually live it and know it and believe it and trust it. You never have to be ashamed or emebarrsd for your faith.

When you boast in the Lord, this stirs life inside of your soul. It gives power to your spirit. It makes yourself aware of Gods presence .

So if you boast, boast only in the Lord.

It will produce great humility.
