What did Jesus say when the man said good rabbi to Jesus . Jesus responded. Why do you call me Good there is only one that is good that is God.
Jesus yes is God in the flesh but he is human as Jesus.
Jesus as human realized with all the human emotions and desires And all the worldly deceptions that, apart from God, we have no good thing. And that all good things come from God. Thus. Why do you call me good. There is one that is good that is God.
My point with this is many Christians sets Jesus up as an idol over their minds.
They become enslaved and don’t even realize it.
The whole point of Jesus is freedom.

Literally anything can be an idol over you. For instance you can let money be an idol or even the Bible if you let it dictate for you over Gods own revelation within yourself.
