I read what Jesus said , every word and I failed to see where HE said he was the son of God. I think where a lot of less than smart people got confused was because his APOSTLES said that he was. He identified as "the son of man". He also told Pilate he was who Pilate said he was, a revolutionary among the you know whos.

Another tell is while he was dying on the cross he did not call out to father, he called out to GOD.
Jesus was not a you know who, he inspired a new religion by revolting against them and their power structure..

Let me ask you this, does it seem logical that God would forgive humanity of their sins because they murdered his son? The whole thing is insane and suggests God was an evil asshole who demanded his own son as a blood sacrifice/sin atonement. How does the suffering of an innocent wash the sins of the guilty away?
