Drive or better yet, take your boat to NH. I used to live there. There's a Sig Sauer Academy in Epping....I think it's still open but you should check. There are tons of independent gun shops there. It's a 4 - 5 hour drive MAX....depending on where you are in NY. No sales tax either in NH. I just did a search on gun shops in NH and there are at least 20 pretty close to the MA border. Gotta get ammo though, that might be a problem right now but get what you can, while you can. The only downside is you might lose it in a boating accident on your way home but that happens. |

BEST GUNS TO HAVE: Glock 19 AR-15 12 gauge shotgun 20 mm Vulcan Cannon  There have been a tremendous number of NEW firearms buyers this year from all walks of life and all political parties. If each of those folks purchased just 150 rounds of ammunition with their new firearm, for practice, use, etc., they all by themselves will have sucked something like 1.5 BILLION rounds of ammunition from the ammo available. Lockdowns, an almost complete stoppage of ship traffic for several weeks to more than a couple of months, etc. add to the problem. And there is only so much capacity at the manufacturers, adding a line isn't easy. Money, skilled help, machinery, raw materials, etc. are needed. I have seen particular calibers sell out before and be in shortage. I have NEVER seen totally empty shelves of EVERY caliber before.
