Just last week I was driving my golf cart down the Main Street through my neighborhood, with lakes on both sides of street and a gator about this size was just starting to cross the road. I decided (due to a little buzz from drinking beers with my tennis buddies) that I'd cut him off and see if I could get him to turn around. He stopped at about 5 feet from me, and just opened his mouth and hissed loudly at me. We both decided to move on. Nous sommes du soleil. -- We are of the sun. |

Dude is lucky it happened in this little pond in palm harbor, wife and I were at a park in oldsmar near the tarpon canal and have seen an at least 13 ft massive gator. We thought it was a tree that fell over until it jumped into the water. Not being native to Florida I think it’s awesome. Floridian. Christian, Father, Hard worker and a millenial. Fuck Big Pharma! Yes, heard of that method too on one of those wild Animal nature shows but heard that you won't be able to get the Alligator onto their backs, without a fight/struggle until you cover their eyes to distract them... So, it's cover eyes first, then try and roll them onto their backs... If all else fails and you must fight, you have to cover their eyes and attack their snouts, apparently... (ETA for spelling)...
