At the age of 18-20, we have 18 weeks of army school. After that we have mandatory service every 2 years for 2 weeks till the age of aprox 35, it depends on the position you have in the militia. You allways take the gun at home.

Every soldier can take his gun at home after the service. There are some restrictions when it comes to ammo.
But if you are in a shooting range, you can allways buy the ammo, and just don't use it all:)

Unfortunatly the snowflake plague has reached switzerland too.
So it comes that only 11% ( 2017 ) took their gun at home after the service has ended definetly.
