Well, there's two problems that I see with your statement.

1) It assumes ANTIFA members who own firearms are either not veterans or have no formal training in strategic combat, defensive maneuvers, etc.

2) It disregards the fact that the US military has always struggled with guerrilla warfare. Look at the Vietnam War, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

I'm not saying you're entirely wrong, but I believe your confidence to be misplaced. Those people are nuttier than a Mongol living near a bat cave sniffing Guano all day.

That is actually propaganda that has been spread in the US by the US government itself to get us to hate each other.

Sure, the politicians want guns out of our hands, but your everyday left-wing person? They aren't in favor of taking people's guns or not owning guns, etc.

Guns are fun and despite ideological differences between myself and a lot of my friends on the left, that's one thing we usually agree on.

Yeah, a lot of people who are cheering and goading civil war have an idea of what it will be like, but most of them can never know.

It's one thing to be ready for it if it happens but it's something else entirely to cheer it on and hope it happens.

As with most things, the reality of something like this is nowhere close to being "fun" or "exciting." I don't think they fully comprehend what it means to be shooting at, and killing, their neighbors, their neighbors kids, their neighbors wife, etc.

Like when Civil War first began before - townsfolk would grab their picnic blankets, picnic baskets, and head out to watch the battle.

Those didn't last too long once they discovered that War is Hell. When many of the townsfolk saw what actually happens to people during times of war, they stopped cheering for it.

I just see a lot of misguided fairies with, with very clean weapons they are barely strong enough to hold.

If I had a business or property in danger of being looted or burned by ANTIFA, well let's just say that would be very difficult to do while bleeding out.

Forget about trespassing on private property while armed. That's when all "safety" switches are off and anything goes.

Stay away from protests, I think you'd be nuts to go near those. Let professionals handle it. If ANTIFA ups the ante and heads to the suburbs, ISIS trained or not, they are in for some good old fashioned guerrilla warfare.

Even for highly trained SWAT, taking out one deranged person with a handgun takes a small army and all of their training.

I spent last night reading all the parts of that article, and it's an excellent account of what the far left would do if they could, based on what they've done historically.

It does a great job of detailing all the warning signs of a planned far left takeover and subsequent mass slaughter, and we've been seeing these warning signs in the West for quite some time. (Now they've even come straight out and said they're making lists.)

The article also covers genocide campaigns in detail. It appears there are 2 kinds, 1) killing off a weak unpopular minority and 2) going after a bigger fish that Marxists have deemed to be the bourgeoisie and the strategy that's used to accomplish this.

In the USA, they're attempting #2, and the article explains that the far left footsoldiers can only hope to achieve this with the help of the oligarchy and government insiders, which they're clearly receiving. If it goes hot, we can expect antifa to roll into the suburbs and rural areas armed with the latest military gear.

The article drives 2 points home. Do not give up your guns. If you do, then enjoy the last one to four months of your life before you're shot in the back of the head next to a mass grave. Fortunately, Americans are showing no signs of being willing to give up their arms.

The 2nd point they drive home is: once it goes hot, do NOT trust any government offers to move you and your family to a safe area. The entire purpose of armed thugs roaming the countryside is to get people to flee to government safe zones where undesirables are then promptly rounded up and executed. Never forget that the thugs work for the government, and it's their job to either kill you or flush you out.

Once you've been pegged as an undesirable, you can never surrender. The moment your hands are tied behind your back, it's all over. This will happen suddenly on a day that seems perfectly normal; you won't hear anything about it in the media. If you fall into the hands of a government gone rogue, everything will seem routine right up until the moment you get off the bus and see rows of people kneeling next to a ditch with guns to their heads.

Trump did say, "They're not after me. They're after you. I'm just in the way." Obama set up the apparatus to accomplish all of the above, and Hillary would've been in a position to take it to the next level if she had won.

The article is worth a read, though it contains a lot of gruesome images of atrocities that could be quite disturbing for people who are sensitive. So I am giving a Graphic images warning.

The notion you espouse here is only relevant if there is unity among the American people; a common enemy. The only common enemy for the American people right now is each other. We are being walked into a masterfully planned baited ambush. Once the American people are fighting each other outside forces WILL step in to exploit that gaps that result.

Also, I'm not sure it requires nationwide unity. Seems to me that's putting the onus on someone else. Ultimately, everything starts with an individual choice. There's a reason that the emperor chose the phrase (and metaphor) "behind every blade of grass". He wasn't talking about a cohesive entity. He didn't say "there are a lot of rifles on that putting green". He went granular. We are granular. And that's part of our strength.
