OP. You know who else was backed into a corner facing insurmountable odds?
King Leonidas and The Spartan 300!!!
Their sacrifice paved a path to Freedom for all times. Yes, they were defeated, but it unified the Free World to stand together in the face of a tyrant, then destroy it! What is your sacrifice worth?

If we were faced with this we would go in a second. That is the problem with soft takeover. You never see the invasion and never mobilize and one morning local cops are at your house taking all firearms maybe even arresting you. I pray this isn't the case but so far this looks very grim. As true as your statement is, people who love Liberty must show resolve but remain ruthlessly fearless. History has proven yours (and my own) concerns to be correct more times than should ever be counted. Be that as it may, hope is the key factor right now. If hope fails, then the people will know the face of thine enemy and the courses of actions that must follow. Those before us, long ago wrote about victory and paved the road maps of Liberty. We should've never allowed ourselves to fear the very govt that we "installed" to represent us. Instead, that govt should fear the voice of the people. Obviously, there is alot of conversation needed here for future generations sake.
