Reminds me of a theater company in Spain after they closed down all theaters. They partnered with a food truck, which sold $50 sandwiches...but also came with a free admission to watch a show.

I’m sure that there are at least a few ladies in the congregation that wouldn’t mind taking a 5 minute spin to justify the church’s new designation.

The legal decision that says strip clubs have the right to remain open is exactly the same reason why the churches can stay open.

If the liberals get into power, they will remove the tax exemption from churches anyway so who cares?

Churches provide emotional support and connection to the lonely, especially at this time of the year, sharing of food and resources to the needy, and a sense of purpose to the disenfranchised and/or lost. Some churches provide a space for AA meetings and childcare.

It's past time for churches to remember their history, when across America they united to help the Boat People from Viet Nam. Churches need to get politically involved once again to help the citizens of this country thereby setting an example for everyone in the world of what the power of God can do.

Multiple churches in California have sued over the shutdown order and their “nonessential” designation, arguing that shutting down churches violates the First Amendment.

Others have continued to hold indoor services despite the shutdown order, including Godspeak Calvary Chapel in Ventura County, led by Pastor Rob McCoy – who stepped down from his post as a member of the Thousand Oaks City Council before defying the health officer’s order back in April.

For the people in the back, here’s what the First Amendment says:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. . .

After a few good laughs, McCoy’s message focused on the increased persecution churches face during the pandemic shutdowns and the tyrannical rule being embraced by so many on both sides of the aisle. . .

McCoy’s dance performance only lasts a minute or so; if you have time, the remainder of the sermon is very good.

Do you realize how hard it would be for some to organize it, and especially to commit to attending weekly?

More important some large churches provide a huge area of social services and support for their church families. Those who don't want their personal business spread to others or to risk being a source of gossip are more likely to confide in their wise, experienced pastor for advice and direction.

Networking jobs and inexpensive housing is a crucial factor now lost with church closures.

I'll tell you a secret about exotic dancers. A lot of them are poor pretty girls who got kicked out of the house or had to leave for a variety of reasons as that situation was unstable. They ain't all bad girls. That is ridiculous.

A lot of them turn to the Bible as that is a miserable way to earn a living being oogled by creepy old men. You would be surprised how well some of them know the Bible. They generaly need rescuing for things get worse.

Such a lonely poor girl can become a fallen woman merely because no strong man rescues her. It ain't like she woke up one day and thought, "Yeehaw, I'm gonna be a stripper".

It makes her lose her sense of self-worth, and start using drugs to mask the humilation and take up with the first guy who seems remotely strong. Then that turns into a disaster.

This happens to poor college girls all the time as that is so expensive and maybe she has zero help and ain't living at home.

Strip clubs being open is because there are so many psychopaths in power and they cannot live without a way to satisfy their need to indulge in vice.

Do not bow to the slime created by the state. There are two people in this world, those who bow to the god's of this world and burn, and those who bow to Almighty God your Savior and Creator. You cannot bow to both.

A stripper will becomean escort. An escort becomes a prostitute. Realizing it's no good, she turns to being in porn. Then ends up in porn and being a prostitute.

That is the typical pattern. She gets abused, becomes addicted to drugs, gets pregnant, and trapped. She may get an STD too.

Protect your daughters from slimey shitheads.

Thats awesome, my Church has been closed, canceled all mens meetings or meetings at all for that matter, when we do open we have to wear masks and not be able to touch get near one another, and im sick of hearing Romans 13.1 as an excuse.

The bible tells us to comply to authority, however if it goes against God then we don't. And I see blind compliance as ignorance, its actually making me think of changing churchs because I just find it spirtually weak to cave so easily. If we don't stand for our right to assemble as a church then we shouldn't be a church.
