Yes if you have have enough Theta (need 10k now will be reduced to 1k soon) to stake and a good internet connection you can set up your own Guardian Node and collect the Tfuel. Right now though Gpool is allowing anyone to stake to their node free of charge so I am taking advantage of that while I can. Later on once smart contracts are released on the network they have said they might charge a small fee to continue the service but its still a win for those who have crappy internet service.
