Can any of the anti-catholic shills here prove that they even understand Catholic theology?
I see a lot of attacks against the Catholic Church on this forum. Often, it's by extreme nutjobs who have completely bastardized the Christian religion in order to shoehorn it into their idiosyncratic personality rather than adapting their life to Jesus.

The attacks, however, are very immature and usually reflect a profound ignorance of what the Catholic Church teaches. Instead, the views reflect false Protestant strawman objections to things that the Church never taught.

Secondly, people on here seem to be so inured by political mudslinging, that they are now convinced that ad hominem attacks and poisoning the well fallacies somehow determine what is true and what isn't.

So, let's see what ya's got.

BTW: Anyone who deflects from the topic and tries to turn this into a personal pissing contest, I will warn them twice before banning them from the thread. THis thread is about Catholic theology, not about if you can beat me in a debate. If you really want a pissing contest that bad, the only way I will do a debate is one on one with a moderator on live video. Otherwise it just turns into an annoying game of pigeon chess that I don't care to participate in.

RCC theology contradicts the Bible too many times for mentioning. You cannot be both right.

You mean it contradicts your interpretation of the bible. I pick the Catholic Church being right over you, since you are a single individual trying to buck 2,000 years of writings of the holiest saints to ever live on earth.

Ask the question: How does RCC theology differ not from Protestant theology, but from Coptic and Eastern, Russian, and Greek Orthodox Church theology.

The answer to that question might be telling....

Maybe read the rest of the bible:

11. In the second Epistle to Timothy (1:11) we read: “Wherein I am appointed a preacher... and teacher of the gentiles.” Therefore, man can be a teacher and can be called one.

In the second Epistle to Timothy (3:14) it is said: “But continueyouin those things which thou has learned, and which have been committed to thee.” Of this the Gloss says: “From me as from a true teacher.” We conclude as before.

Since our Lord had ordered the disciples not to be called teachers, the Gloss explains how this prohibition is to be understood, lest it be taken absolutely. For we are forbidden to call man a teacher in this sense, that we attribute to him the pre-eminence of teaching, which belongs to God. It would be as if we put our hope in the wisdom of men, and did not rather consult divine truth about those things which we hear from man. And this divine truth speaks in us through the impression of its likeness, by means of which we can judge of all things.

What do you think about Catholics converting from the 438 year old Biblically out of whack 1582 AD Old Gregorian calendar to the more modern Biblically correct New Jerusalem Calendar?

Revelation 21:2
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
