I want Trump to stay in office as much as anyone, but this is horse shit. Not because Biden didn't do anything illegal (he did), but rather that a President may not pardon someone unless that individual has already been charged.

Biden has not been charged. Though it is possible that he would be offered immunity from prosecution in exchange for cooperation.

If that deal is actually on the table, and I would guess that the story is true, my advice to Donald Trump would be to take it. The world will take care of the Bidens, such a deal would free him to entirely dismantle the demopoop party, and the wankers who voted for Biden would have no basis to claim that Trump stole the election via any sort of legal process.
