Re: Has anyone here actually spent time in China?
My buddy spent 10 years there.

Every Chinese Nation is an agent of the State. They are brainwashed and indoctrinated into it.

Any who are not conformed enough are "re-educated", a three year program of Psychological Mind Control to make you loyal to the State.

There is no failure. You either get with the program or stay in the program until you are conformed into a loyal obedient communist.

Every Chinese Nation abroad is a Spy of the Chinese government and a State Actor. Have no doubt.

Presently most are acting as business people in foreign nations while at the same time being part of a massive drug smuggling chain inflicting what the British did to them with Opium to the western populations with modern addictive substances.

Given they have been allowed into western nations without restriction they have tried to access every part of our infrastructure and economic structures and appear to have successfully used their drug money to buy and bribe every official they needed to get their hooks in.

They use the money we give them by trading with them to bribe or own Politicians, Officials and Business people.

The Chinese State will give those business people things Epstein would not to keep them in house.

Only spent 10 days as a tourist last year. We found the people very friendly and accommodating. Didn’t get any kind of bad looks, just lots of smiles

the often treat foreigners very well and punishments may be more severe for a crime committed against foreigners. a friend who is very good at looking the other way and only seeing what slaps him right in the face. liked it.

People just don’t care about anything in the cities. It’s so crowded they just go about their business ignoring everything and everyone. The Chinese county is nice and the people nice as well although they don’t trust outsiders at first you have to win their trust. So in short the cities suck bad and the country is where I would be.

Re: Has anyone here actually spent time in China?
My Wifes job sent her to Beijing for four months, during that time I took my two week vacation to be with her, here are my observations:

1. As already stated, people there have a huge staring thing, but its mostly in the rural areas that a lot of foreigners dont visit.

If youre black, heavily tattooed, tall, ginger, outside the norm, expect to be photographed like youre a fucking apeman.

2. Actual Chinese food is vastly different to what we have in the states, also, you should only eat in " tourist " restaurants or branded locations, otherwise the standards are piss poor. I would rather starve than eat street vendor food there.

3. Their culture is like the Borg, EVERYTHING there is a photo-copy of something done better by different people, tons of phony shit everywhere, its actually depressing.

4. The police are extremely friendly to tourists, to the point that its kind of off putting, cause you feel like the friendliness is a veneer to spy on you.

This is true...I have Chinese neighbors and they wanted to put their central air unit on my property...They are very nice though, they just needed some education...and I agreed to sell them electricity until they get the permit to hook up, so it's a win/win...

2013-2014 in Hangzhou. Great city.

Things were way better then before Xi.

Heard it’s not as good now and Chinese have become a lot more ethnocentric towards foreigners, especially American.

Hello (AC).

I'm going to bet you are Chinese and you currently live in China.

I doubt you are British (as your GLP flag would suggest) because your grammar sucks shit.

So, why don't you ask a different question, and just be honest this time.

Ask something like, "Me Chinese, me play joke, me go pee-pee in your Coke. Now, guess how old I am."

And yes, I've been to China and Taiwan. Taiwan was MUCH nicer!

They're also fascinated by blue eyes and blonde hair that looks natural and not dyed and will stare as if they're looking at an albino.

Yeah, the culture is like the Borg and they're into copying everything western. There are McDonald's and KFC's everywhere and plenty of western corporate logos. They were playing rap music over the outdoor speakers when I was there and it sounded identical to American black rap, only it was all in Chinese. The tour guide said the words were gibberish because the idea is to just duplicate the phonetic sounds.

The food was indeed different from the states but the authentic food I had was surprisingly good, even delicious at times. I would avoid the government restaurants because they turn out the same slop and use a formula.

Some of the hotels in the big cities are quite lavish and beautifully decorated and are a bargain compared to western hotels. If you venture outside the big cities don't do so without a guide or a Chinese speaking person because nobody speaks English and all the signs are in Chinese and you'll get lost.

I found it fascinating to visit China although I would never want to live there.

Studied there 93-96, mulitiple business trips between 2000-2010. Havent been back since. To answer your question, they are not rude to foreigners. Really they were very curious. Being able to speak the language (poorly) helped. I will say that everyone did seem quite deceptive, never made real friendship w locals.

I've never been to India but everyone I know who's been there says the same thing and that you have to go there to understand.

A colleague of mine is an avid world traveler (pre-covid) and says India is his favorite country to visit and he's returned a few times.

Never been there but done plenty of business and been visited by Chinese people. I can agree they are all agents of the state. For a while I thought they admired the western world but now I have learn they just want to own it.
