I said it months back somewhere here, but I wondered if the vaccine wasn't a way to keep people from biohacking themselves. For instance, the shot would give the pharmaceutical companies a total Monopoly on gene therapy-like the vaccine would somehow permit you from using crispr technology on yourself. So if you needed it, they might give you another vaccine to turn on the capability or turn it off.

This guy mentions the biohacking community. He also mentions how hard it would be to control the eye drops to let people see in the dark.

There are people working with crispr technology, out of their homes. That's why the technology has grown by such sleeps and bounds it's been like an arms race. I think they knew that it was the hacking community that grew the technology of the internet, and they wanted to harness that in an arms race for controlling the human brain and genes. Biohacking. DARPA knows there are some really smart people out there who don't have big college degrees, and don't need them.
