The number you have reached is no longer in service More people than you realize still have landline phones. Curious as to why you believe that 3g is no longer going to be functioning ? Why not contact T-Mobile to inform them of problems? T-Mobile sucks and while I hate Verizon they have the best network. Go to Walmart phones and it only cost 50 bucks for a phone, you can either get a new number or just forward the T-mobile number to the throw away phones. |

The number you have reached is no longer in service my guess is this is your problem. these companies are huge, their IT is pretty disjointed, I've personally worked on IT systems at Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T (which is why I use Sprint, I never looked inside it, haha). it takes time to migrate and synchronize all those systems. |

The number you have reached is no longer in service New towers and such but the basics are still the same. I know where I live they are promoting 3g plus which they are basically claiming is 5g but a light version. No big differences, I live in a mid sized city but there are not any fast plans to kick off 5g as they have to get there infrastructure up to par and it cost them money, takes time, and frankly they can not deliver what the 5g supposedly offers anyway so why bother. Phone service will never go dark because of upgrades unless you try using a brick style bag cell phone they use to have as the FCC governs what they do. Thats another option for you, if you honestly believe that someone is redirecting your calls go to the FCC web sight and file a complaint. They will contact you and talk to your provider in order to get it straight. I filed a complaint a couple years ago as I was having interference issues and told the guy that when I look at where the cell tower that I was routed too looked like it was in someone’s back yard, he told me he had other complaints in my area and he would double down to determine what was going on. The issues went away, and while he did not get back to me I do think some one was hijacking and rerouting signals and at least they stopped, don’t know if he caught them but they do have vans that can go anywhere and measure radio signals and they catch ham operators all the time as well as people redirecting cell signals |

It's not. This was months ago. Even when i was on Verizon i had issues, which is why i switched in the first place. :memorybanner: |

The number you have reached is no longer in service And nothing will change on your phone over new 5g or what ever they come up with. 5g is still a long ways out for most and especially rural areas. They will not stop servicing the phones out there as they would lose too much money and I still have old flip phones that work fine and they were before 3g which is basically a marketing ploy anyway. Very good information! Here's a weird one for you... ATT, T-Mobile, and all MOCA carriers using gsm are going to REQUIRE 4GLTE or 5G by January 21 next year! Look into it. I'll make another thread on that because it's very important. Even if your phone supports LTE that doesn't mean you'll be able to make or receive calls very soon. VoLTE is a software and is not available for non US firmware unlocked phones. Many people, myself included, have in the past purchased European dual sim phones unlocked and they worked just fine. Even now they'll still "work" albeit barely. When these carriers require VoLTE people will be having a VERY hard time communicating, especially across state lines. You heard it here first. It's pretty fucked up. :memorybanner: |

The number you have reached is no longer in service You can, but come early next year you wouldn't be able to make or receive calls if you don't have 4G signal and turn that software feature off. Try it now. Turn on mobile data. Then, make a call. You'll see your mobile data stays on and you're making a call over LTE. Then, turn off VoLTE but leave data on. Make a call again. Your phone will then switch the radio from 4G to a lesser signal like 3G or 2G (edge). You'll notice a difference in calling speed and quality, but it should still work. Come early next year, it won't work i promise you that. Where i used to be able to make/receive calls in pretty rural areas it would be using 3G or 2G, but these carriers will force you to use VoLTE meaning 4G or greater early next year. There are MANY areas without 4G still! This is ridiculous and ham fisted! :memorybanner: |

The number you have reached is no longer in service This is fucked up. Quoting: eyeDR3 ...she has been trying to refer to us and others are receiving the message that our telephone numbers have been disconnected and are no longer in service.... ...I'm currently T-Mobile having left Verizon only a couple of months ago.... THERE is your phone problem in a nutshell ... you are with T-Mobile, the worst carrier in the entire US (although AT&T is a close second). As stated by someone else I don't like Verizon but THAT is the carrier I use since they ARE the most dependable out there. IF you are trying to run a business via a phone you absolutely NEED a dependable communication line, which means you need to go back to Verizon. That is what I concluded and why I left T-Mobile, and for me my cell phone is only a secondary phone since my office phones are my #1 but even then I needed DEPENDABILITY and UP TIME ... and T-Mobile isn't where that is happening. For a cheap way to utiize Verizon, but in busy times you get shunted aside, the "TOTAL" prepay division of TracPhone uses Verizon as their provider. You get Verizon's coverage, Verizon's dependability, withOUT paying Verizon's prices. Good luck!! ---------------------------------- OH ... and if you are going to use an internet provider for an IP phone system for your business do NOT use Spectrum (here it is the old Time-Warner system). When a "Business Class" Spectrum connection goes down it can take them UP TO A WEEK to get you back up and running ... and until then YOU HAVE NO PHONES IN YOUR OFFICES!! That has been the experience of multiple businesses in our DOWNTOWN city office building. I absolutely HATE AT&T ... but for reliability they can not be beat when it comes to Internet connections, which is critical if you are running an IP phone system so that is who I decided we should use. Our offices have been down twice in 4 years with AT&T, and they had a Service Tech ON SITE within 15 minutes both times, and we were back on line with our internet and IP phones within an hour ... sure beats 1 week which is all you may get with Spectrum Business Class!! If IP phones are part of your business operations go with AT&T. I hate AT&T but they absolutely have the MOST DEPENDABLE wired internet service out there, and when they go down they are on it IMMEDIATELY. ------------- If you don't catch my drift here ... DEPENDABILITY is critical if you are usineg your phone for business. It is worth paying EXTRA for dependability if it for business. |

The number you have reached is no longer in service Try US Mobile, as a carrier. It is a pre pay service and you need to have a sim card. That usually means a smart phone. You can choose between 2 formats, one is on T-mobile, the other is Verizon network. But at a much better price. I left Verizon for them, Same quality(Verizon network) but way less expensive. I buy unlocked phones(ebay or Amazon) that are compatible with them. They do sell some phones, but also allow you to bring( or buy) your own. |
