Changes I want to see in the Government of the United States of America

Congressional & Senate
- term limits
- remove their protected status with insider trading
- screw that.... there should be no law that they themselves are not held to, the same as their constituents
- due to their position of trust... elevated penalties for not abiding by laws their constituents are held to (floating bad checks, traffic violations, etc)
- repeated criminal offenses held to greater legal penalties, up to and including incarceration/capitol punishment
- faster and more immediate forms of accountability to US Citizens
- remove the logjam of only Republicans & Democrats having any real chance at being elected to office (same for President)
- a monthly and annual audit of their effectiveness at truly representing their constituents
- annual salaries tied directly to their effectiveness as representatives of We the People
- make quid pro quou scenarios & violations entirely illegal
- raise the minimum age (think AOC) for their positions within the government
- anyone serving in these positions denied the ability to take paying positions with lobbying firms during and after their term


These are just the tip of ideas I'd love to see become reality.

Its time that We the People assert ourselves as being the ones that sign their paychecks.

It's time to stop fucking around.

Its time to make our voices heard.
