Something those videos all have in common:

-cities
-people packed together
-living in apartments
-being part of the 'societal machine'
-jobs in the same machine

I don't see any fields, forests, farms, small villages/towns, etc. They are really going to plug farmers brains in to evaluate data? Hmmm. And people are going to eat HOW?

Oh pardon me-- they must be about to instantly evolve our bodies into non-eating and non-shitting machines because they have that power, right?

The people who produce food and provide important services will always have a role. And guess what, when society does collapse EVERYONE will have a role because they will have to get up off their asses and do real work just to eat, drink water, and keep warm as humans have had to do for the millenia.
