Heck, it says good for 2 weeks after opening but...if you roll up the bottom it lasts way longer then that. Just make sure to squeeze the air out and put the cap back on with a bit (1/16th ") sticking out. Nothing there to rot!

ANd a few dollops because of the concentration is about 1/2 a small tin of the stuff.

Oatmeal scotchies are Woody's favorite cookies.

The only thing you really need for grilling is a water spray bottle. Sometimes the grease from the burgers catches fire.

No spray bottle. She left it behind with all my grilling tools since she had my previous grill go to 1 800 junk or whatever it is called.

I didn't know you could bake grits?!?.

Here's the dinner before the grill. The bacon was wet and stringy so I got six strips.

it took them from the foil and placed them on the grill but most fell into the charcoal and started a blaze. I took the remaining ones from the grill and put them back on the foil over it and they promptly caught fire.

So dinner was kinda burnt with all but one and one-half strips of the bacon wasted and burgers about one-inch diameter too small for the brioche buns I bought. Mrs. still liked it which was an encouragement.

No pic of the immolated dinner, it was too traumatic.

I served it with a iceberg lettuce salad, potato salad and egg salad.

Hey, my left-right picture change works!!!

I'll show how I do my grits tomorrow, I've never had anyone say they didn't like them. It's not hard. You just have to remember to make them the night before,

Those look really good! We were eating chocolate chips yesterday. I'm thinking about making molasses cookies.

I think I'm going to try freezing spoonfuls of dough. Then I would be able to just bake a few at a time. I love fresh cookies!

I hardly ever make them because we can't eat a whole batch. It's too much sugar.

LOl...the missus was just upset with herself by burning some in the JIffy maker 'fry pan popper'...I didn't mind at all! Boring dinner tonight some leftover frozen homemade pizza and a blueberry and spinach salad with feta and red onions. Maybe some slightly scalded sunflower seeds sprinkled with cayenne and onion powder for a tasty crunch here and there.

Chapter 11 – Money from the Sea: A Cross-cultural Indigenous Science Problem-solving Activity

Dentalium Shell Money Story
For 2,500 years, until the early 20th century, North American Indigenous peoples used the dazzling white cone-shaped shell of a marine mollusk as currency. Dentalium pretiosum is a 5 to 7.5 centimeter long mollusk of the class Scaphopoda, a group also known as tusk shells because of their slightly curved, conical shape (Figure 11.1 and Figure 11.2). Dentalia inhabit coarse, clean sand on the surface of the seabed in areas of deep water, and are often found in association with sand dollars and the purple olive snail (Olivella biplicata).
