| Happy in Nature User ID: 79449875  Nicaragua12/14/2020 12:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Greek Garbanzo Salad 1 can garbanzos, washed 1 can diced tomatoes, with 1/2 the juice 1 can black olives 2 cucumbers, deseeded 1 red onion, diced Olive oil (4 tablespoon) Rice vinegar or white whine vinegar (3 tablespoon) Juice of one lemon fresh mint, basil or parsley salt and pepper feta cheese Mix together and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight. True story....my late old man grew bumper crop of various hot peppers and we were prepping to make nice Xmas jars for folks later during Holidays. Old man decided to grab two fresh Habanero peppers to add to supper he was fixin'. Cut those suckers, mixed into stir fry and then went to relieve himself in bathroom. He forgot to wash his hands w/ Lava soap after his food prep. (sigh) Swear to gawd the lil' cow town a mile up the road heard him holler-n-cuss. And despite the heroic effort of this farm wife's actions, sticking one's Johnson burning from pepper juice into a cold glass of milk doesn't work the same way as drinking milk after ingesting hot pepper. Lesson of this GLP PSA....Wash your damn hands! And not necessarily for the 'Rona!  I've done it more than once I have to admit. Use rubber gloves now. Are y'all related? Black beans, chicken, corn, tomato paste & taco seasoning. that sounds good but i would try to imitate the taco pack so as to leave out the artificial chemicals.. :) Here's my"go-to" taco seasoning mix. I quadruple the recipe and keep it in a ball jar. You can adjust the amounts to your own taste. 1 tablespoon chili powder ¼ teaspoon garlic powder ¼ teaspoon onion powder ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes ¼ teaspoon dried oregano ½ teaspoon paprika 1 tablespoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon black pepper In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Store in an airtight container. Going to try this, packaged stuff just doesn't taste like what you get at a taco stand/cart. COVID IS NOT FUCKING REAL, WW3 AIN'T GUNNA HAPPEN.
