Tonight made quick sweet and sour chicken. This is my son's portion. He's at that age where it's all a seafood diet, you know, See Food Eat Food and as much as possible.

I miss those days...

Nice! My granddaughter is like that at 11. She can't shovel it in fast enough sometimes. cool2

Bacon, dippy eggs, fried potatoes, & whole wheat toast.

Kitty! I miss my kitties every night. Youth is wasted on the young in so many aspects of life. Being able to enjoy eating like crazy will only be missed when they can't do it anymore after years and years. chuckle

Both meals look delicious.

I miss my kittehs too; I'm at the old house and they are at the new home by themselves.

Do you use the apple flavored one? And is it gross lol? Or does the PBJ hide the flavor of the paste?

Sorry for all the questions. I have several tubes of the apple one but haven't tried it yet.

So happy for you and Dakota!

Yes I have the apple flavor too. I spread my dosage on a piece of bread then make a PB&J sammich. Can't taste anything that way.

Thank you a huge burden has been lifted from us.

I have tried the apple. I just put it in the back of my tongue and swallowed it with water like a pill. It left a little bitterness, but not bad.

I have a few tubes that are the cream. I'm afraid that's going to be worse than the jelly, like swallowing a ball of grease.

Sounds good!

Teryaki chicken, brown rice with gravy & broccoli

We tried Sweet Baby Ray's teryaki sauce for th efirst time. It's really good! I marinated all night & then baked covered in the sauce at 275 all afternoon.

The gravy is from a store brand packet for $.30. It's good & low sodium, too. What a deal!

Hi.

Bought the OAP fish and chips.

Joking. Its a large haddock and chips.

I can bake nicer chips but think they might be too overwhelming. So we just go with the chip shops. Which sometimes seem air fried.

Nice enough.

Haddock might be better than cod. I read before buying, its the chefs choice.

I just bought Mr a few bottles of their new No Sugar added sauce. I'm hoping it's as good as their others!

Doc said he could eat carbs, but he's trying not to overdo it.

Mr is having fancy spicy fried chicken fillets from the Apron at Publix that we were given. It was too spicy for me so I'm having chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, gravy, & corn. At least they are the good Perdue refrigerated nuggets. I had a nice cash back deal on them.

Doesn't your sugar go to low without eating, also?

Now that I'm on that Jardiance, I've had mine go to low a few times. I carry candy in the truck just in case.

If I properly manage my glucose and insulin I won't get a high or low alarm. I usually can go a day or two without eating.

I try to manage my blood glucose between 110 and 70. If I start the day there I can keep it there, if my day starts with it off it usually is off all day.

Normally I take my multivitamin and a prescription stomach acid reducer, but I'm at the old house and Mrs. can't find them at our new home so I'm doing without until I drive the truck there for the first trip later tonight.

Yes, I'm stressing. We need the hand truck to move the washer and dryer and it had a flat tire and Mrs. and our friend forgot the compressor at our new home on their last trip there.

They are taking a trip there now in our pickup truck with a full load to bring back the compressor so we can load the appliances onto the rental truck along with other stuff.

I just pray Mrs. doesn't blame me for the moving disaster later. Right now she says she finally understands my saying all I need to move is a suitcase with clothes, medicines, laptop, and two computer screens.

Those family items she has lugged around for thirty years and hasn't used or looked at once in that time, and having no children, and no relatives deserving of anything have taken on a much lower value to her now--not worth taking.

We will not have enough time to get everything moved or the trash taken out, so we'll just be taking the important things and leaving the rest.

I'm about useless as I can't walk twenty feet on my own, let alone carry anything so that is causing me major guilt stress. We had a communications failure that caused me to believe she had arranged movers three weeks ago when she had not. So now we're struggling and will have to leave 3/4 of our things behind, we can't even get the beds or most furniture since neither of us can carry or move it.

My life sucks.

But it will suck in a nice home.

With room for a bed some day.

Try not to let things that are out of your control stress you out. I know, much easier said than done. Try to look at the positives, such as how fast you secured your new beautiful home. Everything will fall into place exactly how it is supposed to.

You are very loved on this forum and many wonderful souls here are keeping you in their prayers.
