I think there is a lot of different names for things in the South. It's strange that it's different in parts of Ga though.

In Akron, they call the strip of grass between the side walk and the road a devil's strip.

Did you make the marinade, or was it one of the pre-seasone d ones?


My son's friend is supposed to be making smoky wings for tonight. He doesn't do side dishes so I'm making mac & cheese. Mr had an idea about using ricotta, too. I looked it up and it's a thing. So I'm going to try adding some tonight & see how it tastes.

Last night Baby was so tired after dinner she went to sleep on the couch. I figured it was because she went to the beach with her cousin.

She woke up because the dumb dog they have decided to sit on her head.

Then she was all sniffles& told me she had a cold - after I had been snuggling next to her!

So now I'm taking extra C hoping I don't get sick.

I was just thinking about buying potatoes later today. Lats time Publix (which is usually more) was actually cheaper on potatoes than Walmart.

I'm hoping they are on sale. Last time, the cheapest I could get a 5 lb bag of red potatoes for was $7. They were $8 at Walmart!

Might want to check Target out. You can get 6 pounds for under $7.

That's not bad. Unfortunately, the nearest Target is about 30 minute away in an area with awful traffic. We go thru there when we go to Talbot Island FL. Mr hates it, especially on the bike. They don't signal or even look when they change lanes. They just go. People just don't give a fuck.
