In the show Shameless, masks are just like fashion statements

Watching Shameless for the first time. It’s weird because it seems like they live in 2 different worlds. Half the characters wear masks and half dont. But neither care. So I can’t tell if they’re in a pandemic. You’ll have people at bars no mask and touching each other. Then you’ll see all the kids in school wearing masks and at a store half aren’t wearing a mask and half have it but aren’t wearing it.

This reminds me of the NBA. Players don’t wear masks but coaches do. And after the game they all wear masks.

This show makes it seem like masks are just fashion statements.
