It tells is that the government derives it's power ONLY by the consent of the people.

It is specifically designed and written to prevent tyranny by an individual or a governing body.

If we the people lift the veil and see that our government is not "of the people, by the people and for the people" but is actually an oligarchy that is above the law, makes the rules only to benefit themselves and consolidates their power against the will of the people, then what are we to do?

What do we do if we no longer consent?

Do we write a strongly worded letter and expect the elite to step down from their guilded chairs? Do we stand idly by while our liberty and freedoms are stolen by the very people chosen to represent us?

No. At some point, after all legal avenues have been taken. After the fraud, corruption and treason is known yet goes unpunished, there must be action.
