I've started watching professional curling.

NFL ratings have taken a hit as pandemic-related postponements have pushed some games to less desirable times and the coronavirus has sidelined some star players. Unexpected competition from other sports leagues whose seasons were delayed from earlier in the year also has taken a toll on ratings.




No mention of the real reason the NFL is dead money.

I know.. there's a ton of reasons and it aint the pandemic. The sport sucks now. You can't even root for a team because it's just a mascot. Players constantly moving around for money, etc. No team spirit or dedication. Just stats and money. And then throw the political stunts in the mix, and you push people away.

I love college ball still, but it's heading the same direction. There's a lot of us that just love the sport, and strategy and smack talking. But we want some meaning behind it (like when we played).

Much the same thing happening in England with premier league football. They banned the fans and before every game now they wear rainbow gay arm bands and every player manager and official takes the knee.
In the last couple of weeks they have allowed up to 2000 fans into stadiums and as soon as the fans were back they started booing the players taking the knee and the media went into full propaganda mode calling the fans "far right" and "racist elements"

Ratings should be at an all time high now. Can’t go to the games or do too much else for that matter. NBA and NHL are not playing at the moment as far as I know. I don’t watch tv so I don’t know if there is even new content to watch. People have just learned life is better without it.
