Several years ago I was volunteering for the USO. During Fleet Week in NYC, she was to appear on stage to entertain military there from around the world.

She was being driven towards the stage in an open jeep. I ran to take a photo of her but was abruptly stopped by a man who yelled, "NO PICTURES!"

I was dumbfounded. Another guy came up to me and said, nicely, "No pictures because she doesn't have her makeup on."
