We don't need a "greate reset", what we need is to understand that our enemy is not our brother, be it of another color, another ethnicity, another country, or another belief, or because he has emotional or sexual desires different from ours.

now for determinism.

first avatar encounters the new experience that is existence in a form (proto matter).
he messes up.
comes in second avatar into a world with the first avatar who messed up... second avatar is now more likely to further mess up.
comes in third avatar which is now even more likely to mess up and create a messing up snowball effect.

it is free will, but also quite deterministic.

but... it doesn't end there, the first avatar has the vantage point of watching the early avatars messing up so he becomes able to observe through an objective perspective and thus come up with a solution.
it has been going on and on for thousands of generations.

our grandparents are observing us and seeing their mistakes in our lives.
