Re: I have two cats; they are psychopathic murderers
Let me start by saying: I never wanted two cats.

What happened is my cat died, so I got a new cat. That new cat wasn't weened away from his cat mom and/or litter properly.

After about two months of trying to figure out why my new cat was crazy, I went and adopted a 2nd cat. That fixed his behavioral issues --- literally overnight.

Now the first cat brings mice into my house, just to mess with them. Once inside both cats team up against said mouse. They don't kill the mouse. They just chase it around wherever it goes, catch it and release it. Much like we humans might do for sport fishing.

The other day, I tried to catch said mouse so I could release it outside, but the little bastard hid under some broken down boxes. The cats proceeded to sit on the boxes the mouse was under, who had originally survived for around 24 hours, ending his little mouse life. My second cat is a fat bastard.

Said fat bastard found the mouse carcass and energetically threw it around for about 15 minutes until I was able to retrieve it from his grasp, collect it and flush it down the toilet.

Both of the cats spent the next several hours looking for it.

What fascinated me over that 24 hour period was how the stupid mouse squeaked to let the cats know where he was. Then the game commenced again.

The mouse seemed to know its fate, yet broadcasted where it was to the psychopathic murder cats by squeaking. WHY?

Mice have really shit vision. Teeny tiny eyeballs plus bug-eyed means they can't see very far or very clearly. Most likely, most of the time, the mouse has no idea where the cats are and can't see them.
