It's not difficult to know where NOT to live...Just ask an insurance dealer- they know where the flood planes are, where the water rises, where hurricanes and tornados strike, where earthquakes, and volcanos and forest fires are likely to occur - they know how much snow is likely and what size hail to expect ---their rates reflect where Nature is the most active

At best we would experience a 3 meter wave on the east coast. The vast majority of energy would head to South America, and the dissipation over the expanding arc of the expanding wave would leave very little by the time it got to North America.
