I've seen this dog and pony show before.

Back in 1996, Pat Bucahnan won two early primaries for the Republican nomination for President, and if he had been the same as HIS rhetoric, his election as POTUS would have definitely saved America.

When the all-important Arizona primary occurred, patriots who were monitoring the CBS wire from Maricopa County into the CBS HQ in NYC heard them say "flip the vote". Buchanan had been reported with a certain number--far ahead of second placed Steve Forbes. When the morning came, STEVE FORBES WAS DECLARED THE WINNER WITH THAT EXACT NUMBER.

I called and spoke to Bay Buchanan (his campaign manager) twice WITH MY HAIR ON FIRE demanding they challenge the results. They never did, and Buchanan ended up losing the primary.

Had he won Arizona (as he actually had done) there would have been no stopping a Buchanan steamroller all the way to the Presidency. But he, like Trump, was merely a hired hand and a role player.

It's how it works.

TPTB always own both horse in the 2-horse race every four year. That is just a fact.
