"Threads Today" and "New Threads" totals don't match

At midnight both these things reset to 0. Some time ago I counted the number of threads per page in the "New Threads" section and theres 60 threads per page.

Today an hour after midnight the numbers were close at just over 100 new threads. But now near noon time there is 450 threads today shown at the header and 6 pages on the "New Threads" section. That means there is a total of 360 threads maximum in "New Threads" but the header says "450 threads today".

Where did the other 90 threads go?
