How much gunfire are you hearing?

Southern Oregon is popping off.

As quickly as it started, it ended, but they are still getting calls of people shot. Hope this won't a sign of things to come.

I live in Little Mexico, Houston, and I'm convinced everyone spent their $600 stimulus today: $550 on fireworks and ammo, and the remaining $50 on booze.

It sounded like Beirut for a solid 45 min.

Not unusual for July 4th, Christmas Eve and New Year's, though. Latino peeps enjoy their celebrations!

I'm not far from O'hare...mostly heard large quarter sticks and mortars...then a few gunshots. A few minutes later I heard what sounded like 3 round burst fire a few times in my neighborhood.

I got off the couch and went to the basement when I heard that.

Not much....can't waste ammo this year.....

A few more here and there still, nothing much on scanner.

I passed a big fireworks stand in Pearland, TX this afternoon. Packed!

50 feet away the city had put up a flashing sign "No fireworks in Pearland. $500 Fine".

Its been constant here for hours. Some BIG booms that have to be firearms or bombs.

Made me smile. The people are defying authority.

And now there are more shots, with more reports on the scanner of assault weapons fire.

Just fireworks.

Just fireworks....so far.

So much that it has alarmed thousands and thousands of geese honking overhead

Lots of fights, more shots fired. Ice storm hours away.

Not nearly enough for a nation thats just been usurped.

We've been hearing what we think is fireworks all night and it's still going on.

Thanks for posting this. I wish I would have recorded what we heard here---10 or so 30rd mags, 1 full auto 30rd mag, and hundreds of other shots. Behind us is country, and you can hear a fair amount out there, but can assume they were on their land--not so in the big town.
I said getting a little scary, but listening to that vid makes me want to up it here to a war zone.
