Sorry for your loss Lar. Sounds like he was a great man.
Quoting: It’s Time He was....very much so. A father, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather. While he was not my father, he WAS my Dad in every other way...the most important ways. He’s been in my life for nearly 35 or my 50 years. It’s a loss that will be felt by many. In a better place now waiting in line to face judgement. Spared from having to endure what is coming. Sadly, you’re most likely correct. My Mom this evening said very much the same thing to me as your second sentence.
