I haven't much read the bible, but when I have, it seems like just a corridor of pre-emptive refutation of what anyone might think in contrary to what's just been written.

I wouldn't necessarily be wanting to bind a spiral, but if you've done the work, then you could probably afford to bind a mirror and just be comfortable with the darkness in the light and the light in the darkness. If you think that's wise.
