As a result of an IRS error, 15-20 million individuals who were expected to receive their economic impact payments through electronic payments will now receive payments via paper check. The IRS is preparing to open its Get My Payment portal to allow individuals to view their payment status. "Instead of a check, some people will receive an Economic Impact Payment debit card. The Economic Impact Payment Card will be sent in a white envelope'



I wonder if this is how they force everyone to use the cards?
