Stimulus checks error? delayed?

I have a question I am hoping an expert knows the answer to on this thread since it is about the subject matter.

I have a son that is 18 years old and is in college. Does he get a stimulus check? He has never filed a tax return.

I received mine.

It's a ponzi scheme. They ran out of money so they are waiting for people to pay taxes owed for 2020 filings.

All eligible parties have been paid out.
Unless you have debtors and leans, holds, or flat out owe money to the feds.

If you included him as a dependent on your tax return and since he is not under age 17, then No.

Finally? It’s only a week since the bill was signed by the President.

So the IRS did send some of the stimulus checks to the tax preparers which causes lots of people to be in limbo. Yey.

FIRST OFF, IT TAKES TIME!!!

This is only January 5th and payments won't be complete until the middle of January!!! There are close to 400 million people in this country!

Second, I know someone who works for the IRS and they told me NEVER UPDATE YOUR ADDRESS OR BANK ACCOUNT INFO if you can help it. IF YOU UPDATE YOUR INFO ON THE IRS SITE, IT CAN DELAY YOUR PAYMENT FOR MONTHS!!! I know this is true because it happened to me back in the Spring. I updated my address and account info and it took an additional TWO MONTHS TO GET MY DIRECT DEPOSIT STIMULUS!!!! DON'T DO IT!!!
