"Bones" shows Washington, dc inverted pentagram!

I just started watching this show. I've seen only 3 or 4 episodes. The way they showed the inverted pentagram over the White House was so matter of fact I couldn't believe it! I'll have to keep watching!

Somebody is being sent a message sent. My guess ... the "Gormagons" is the real subject of the series, based on what I've seen.

I have an old book from the 1800s, that shows a picture of a Gormagon emblem. The face is characteristic of an oriental.

The storyline appears to be that the Gormagons are taking out the secret societies, the Freemasons and the Knights of Columbus .... so far.

Another thing to think about when watching out this TV series as it develops:

The "Mongolian hordes" of Kubla Kahn which invaded Eastern Europe and parts of the Mid-East in about the 1100-1200s, went no further West than Italy (based on everything I can find in existing history books.)

About this same time frame is when the Templar Knights (Freemason precursor) went to Jerusalem during the Crusades and returned with "riches" and the ability to build the great cathedrals of Europe.

Early 1300s dates the time when King Phillip of France coordinated a scheme with the Vatican to purge the Knights of their riches and this was the beginning of banking and control of money. Templars who survived the purge, fled to Scotland (some think) and we began the history of pirates sailing under the skull and crossed bones. Also, later is the time of the original banding of Freemasons in the English Isles, with some influence through old ruling families in European dynasties like Austria.

Connecting dots .... it is possible that the Vatican was either overtaken by, or submitted to, control of the Kubla Kahn (oriental ruler). The Jesuits became the "enforcer" branch of the Catholic Church and we may be looking at an extension of the original Gormagons as present day Jesuits.

There is a riddle that asks "What is a gormagon" The riddle is quite vulgar in places, but the answer to it is a man riding a horse [which happens to be male] and a woman is riding on that same horse, sitting side saddle, behind him. However, gormagon is often mistaken to be a mythical creature.

A gormagon was a mythical beast, according to the riddle. The term first appeared in Captain Francis Grose's Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue. It defined a gormagon as "A monster with six eyes, three mouths, four arms, eight legs, five on one side and three on the other, three arses, two tarses, and a *** upon its back."

For those who cannot handle any type of vulgarity, it is time to skip this paragraph and straight to the next. Tarse is an ancient word for penis. The asterisks should be expanded to cunt.

The monster is supposedly a distant cousin of the beast with two backs. There was even a claim in 1761 that a gormagon had been sighted and captured. On February 16, 1761, the New York Mercury announced that a gormagon had been captured. It said that it would be displayed at James Elliot's tavern in Corlear's Hook. The monster was to remain there until the curious were satisfied.

The exact ad read, "This MONSTER is larger than an Elephant, of a very uncommon shape, having three Heads, eight Legs, three Fundaments, two Male Members, and one Female Pudendum on the Rump. It is of various Colours, very beautiful, and makes a Noise like the conjunction of two or three Voices. It is held unlawful to kill it, and is said to live to a great Age. The Canadians could not give it a Name, 'till a very old Indian Sachem said, He remembered to have seen one when he was a boy, and his Father called it a GORMAGUNT.'"

Captain Grose was the one to give away the riddle by explaining it just as it is explained at the beginning of this article. Jonathan Green explained that gormagon may be a combination of the words dragon and gorgon.

In the early 18th century, this word was not used as a riddle or a mythical being. Instead, it was used to indicate a member of society imitating a Freemason.

Yes, my reading indicates the Gormagons attempted to attend Freemason meetings in the late 1700s, and eventually were not included.

A comment about the riddle posted above: The Mongolians were great horsemen. The physical stature of the Mongolian was a stout, long-waisted torso with short, very strong legs. They could out ride, and out run any opponent, and none of the Europeans and Eurasians were a match for these fierce warriors.

Its possible that if one saw a horde of Mongolians approaching on horseback, they looked like the mythical figure in the riddle with the two tarse, one man, one horse, and if they had captured a woman, which they often did, would have her on the back of the horse.

People were terrified of these roving, raiding hordes of warriors.

The show is trying to make it all out to be a bunch of fiction, when it(societies) is very real.

Gormagon rears his head a lot in "Bones". Over several series never mind episodes. I won't tell you who he is in the show. :-)

The symbolism and emblems portrayed in the show and how they are interpreted is very interesting but I don't know how accurate they are.

Infact alot of US shows are covering current events at the moment and what I find amusing is they are portraying them from a liberal perspective. Kind of from an anti-normal US perspective.

NCIS the other night was about an alleged Iraqi terrorist living in small town US. He wasn't. He was put there by the CIA, he was a mole but the whole episode covered muslim hatred, propaganda---keeping the populace living in fear, so they will comply. etc., etc.

SVU is a classic for this! Never mind the fact that Munch is a troll for GLP he constantly drip feeds the audience conspiracy theorys. :-) E.g. 9/11 being an inside job, weather wars, Iraq being an illegal war and so forth.

Criminal Minds is another one that is increasingly covering all these issues and attempting to open peoples minds to a different way of thinking.

I have often thought about starting a thread re: this but as you can see from my bumbling attempt above it is something that would be very difficult to do and the shows would have to be watched to be able to understand and be discussed.
