Eventually BTC will be worth nothing, once enough people realize that bastardized protocol has already failed, will never be used by businesses because it can't scale, is slow and costs too much to use. Then one day they will wake up and realize that it's not even real Bitcoin, and they are "hodling" worthless bags of BTC.
But for now it's "digital gold," and there's all kinds of money to be made off of suckers and fools.
