amendment 14 sect. three:


No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Insurrection is the one criminal act that DOES NOT require impeachment for removal. In fact it takes a two thirds majority to reverse his automatic removal. Think about it, if Trump thought he was going to prison (and he does), he would plunge this country into chaos to stay out of jail.

That and the fact that a president who has gone off the rails is a risk to the entire planet DEMANDS his removal.

It only take agreement between the Speaker of the house and the President of the Senate to remove a president under the 14th amendment, no impeachment is necessary but that doesn't mean there wont be one even after his term is over.


He also faces an extensive list of criminal charges and civil actions.
