Let's assume that the POTUS did sign the Insurrection Act....does that keep Congress in limbo?? Meaning they cannot cannonball this impeachment they keep yapping about??
And if they cannot, where is the "check" in the POTUS's power come from? Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Trump supporter, but am just curious how long this would last, checks and balances, etc.
