Re: Anyone else noticing increased reckless driving?
Yeah, I noticed it a few days before the election day that not only were people driving faster but so much more aggressively.
I would be driving 70 mph , the speed limit, in the slow lane during low traffic times and I had drivers on my bumper, speeding around me while bright lighting me.
The last week and a half I have noticed more despondent driving. I have had several instances of drivers coming into my lane and one on the interstate came close to side swiping me.

I drive interstate, highways and back roads every day, 6 hours total.

I have had one at fault wreck and one speeding ticket in my life so don't discredit my driving.

In the city its a free for all.....E bikes and scooters everywhere, making deliveries.....tho the ebikes can go as fast as cars (20mph), they are going up 1 way streets, weaving in and out of traffic, and on the sidewalks.....many pedestrians were hit on the sidewalks by them.....a ebike going 20-25mph colliding with people will kill.....

i was on lincoln road in so be in miami the other day and this old cuban man made a complete u-turn right in the middle of the intersection.

i felt like i was in havanna...

an investigation about the FHP found that there is absolutely no enforcement on I-95 anywhere in so ffl.

you have ZERO chance of EVER getting a speeding ticket on i-95 because there are no troopers anywhere.

This was my mailbox last Saturday morning.

Well it's the post anyway, the mailbox is crushed behind me in the street. The bastard didn't have the decency to stop and tell me.

Never seen that many people crashing into people's houses and living rooms in such a short period of time.

A stupid woman rammed into the rear end of my car while I was stopped at a red light the other day.

No fucking idea what's happening ...

I've noticed that all the Amazon and Uber Eats and other drivers just park wherever the fuck they want while they deliver shit. block traffic. don't give a damn.

know how taxi drivers hate on uber people?
same thing for pizza delivery dudes, we hate the uber people because of what you just said, basically a bunch of inept tards ruining our business.

Same with USPS letter carriers, Amazon drivers are the worst.. Jump out of a running vehicle door wide open music blasting. They waltz up with a package. I always ask them why? Anyone can run up and steal it the truck and all the merchandise inside.

Theft aside, runaways and rollaways can happen... these Amazon drivers will learn when they start killing people or get killed by their own truck

Yep. 20 min drive home yesterday and I had one oncoming traffic car enter my lane, 2 vehicles come straight at me in a one direction drivethru, then one car come off a side road and park sideways in the middle of a super busy road with everyone going 50mph Right in front of me. You’d think they WANT to get in an accident or something now.

I quit drinking March 15, the day they canceled school, and I'm glad I did.

There's NO WAY people working from home all this time who do drink aren't completely sauced by early afternoon. I would have been, which is why I'm glad I quit drinking when I did.

I was running 70 in a 65 and there's a sudden drop to 45 mph, I kept my speed up like everyone else and a cop passed all of us. If they ran radar there they could get a months worth of quotas in one hour.

Where I live, we joke that there's a 15 mph buffer before the cops care. It seems to be true all over New Jersey - we are fast drivers.

It's my pet peeve, because I like walking around downtown and a lot of people are easily going 45-50 in a 25mpg zone.

A local cop once told me that all the marked police cars in town are responding to calls, and you'd have to really screw up for them to stop what they were doing and worry about you. He said the traffic cars are unmarked/seized vehicles, and that they, too, only focus on the worst offenders.

Re: Anyone else noticing increased reckless driving?
I've learned to be very defensive on the highway.. looking out for others, 100% focus (no distractions). I stay in the right lane and drive slightly under the limit (40mph in a 45 zone.. that way reckless drivers who might rear end you later will go around you before the next intersection). Always give turn signals several hundred feet before you turn (make sure distracted driver behind you knows you're turning).

I've seen cars racing each other on busy city freeways weaving in and out of tight situations.

not to long ago i actually did get hit by a car but he slowed down enough that i was able to do a matrix move and dismount while crashing. landed on his hood, and idk pure rage came over my being, before i finished landing on his car i found myself smashing in his windscreen with my fist. the edge of my watch nicked the glass and it shattered into a million pieces. he chased me almost all the way home. nearly murdered me for that.

people are such assholes.
