Utah House members not joining other Republicans in vote to impeach President Trump
SALT LAKE CITY — House Democrats along with some Republicans are poised to impeach President Donald Trump on Wednesday for inciting a riot at the U.S. Capitol last week.

At least six Republicans have said they intend to vote for impeachment, including Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, the third-ranking House Republican.

Utah's four GOP congressmen, however, won't be among the bipartisan majority looking to expel the president a week before he leaves office.

In his first speech on the House floor Wednesday, Rep. Blake Moore, R-Utah, said that without a single hearing or investigation "I simply cannot reach the high bar of impeachment."

Noting that he was abandoning the remainder of his prepared remarks, Moore, who took office 10 days ago, vowed to his district that he would be "objective."

I didn't watch any of the drama of that day unfold, only reading blurbs about it here on the message board so I cant form an opinion about the matter. I certainly do not believe that Trump would intentionally start a riot. You need to also consoder that the crowd was full of imposters pretending to be Trumpers and that makes a huge difference. You see, when he gives speeches in stadiums the only people that show up are his true supporters because they gotta pay to get in. Here, when there is no ticket required, the cheap left will show up in Trump shirts and sabotage the get together.
