National Guard at Capitol Authorized to Use Lethal Force in Aftermath of Mob

THE 20,000 NATIONAL Guard troops preparing for pro-Trump demonstrations this weekend in the nation's capital will be armed and permitted to use lethal force, the headquarters overseeing them says, marking a striking escalation in the way authorities there are preparing for repeat violence after last week's deadly mob.

"On January 12, 2021, National Guardsmen were given authorization to be armed in support of the U.S. Capitol Police to protect the U.S. Capitol and individual members of Congress and their staff," according to a statement from the D.C. National Guard, which is commanding Guard forces in the city, including units deployed from six other states, to provide security for President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration next week.

A defense official confirmed the authorization includes permission for Guard troops to use lethal force.

The sudden shift in authorities serves as the latest example of the security response to last week's deadly siege on the Capitol. A mob of President Donald Trump's supporters stormed the building and delayed Congress' certification of Biden's electoral victory shortly after the president concluded a rally roughly a mile away on the National Mall.

Our overlords don't even have a good reason for the
nanny police state anymore. Toothpicks must be outlawed to protect the environment. Rope must be banned for safety.
Baseball hats must be outlawed because they are ugly. Insurance must be mandatory to protect the insurance industry.

Rents and medical care are expensive because of regulations.

Airline tickets are expensive because

Puerto Rico couldn't recover from a
hurricane faster because of the Jones Act.

Prisons are crowded because everything is illegal.

Families fall apart because females marry the state instead of a man.

Tbh, I kinda doubt they will be allowed loaded guns, for several reasons.

There's probably a greater risk one of those going postal than a real Trump supporter going near the capitol now.

Everyone knows they are just dying to setup a Trumper so that they can excuse whatever sinister plot they have in mind.

IF something happens 20th, I'm pretty sure it involves Antifa/BLM, or police/military. Anyone else showing up will just be providing them with an excuse...

How else can you explain the destruction of the USA? Economics isn't rocket science. If you want a strong economy,

Pretty stupid to carry an empty rifle but I have seen that and actually carried an empty rifle on multiple occasions as well. Highly unauthorized, but I carried 1 magazine tucked inside my waist band because I felt like I was giant target walking around with an empty weapon.

Also, in those units with empty rifles, there will be designated people with loaded pistols to provide security for them as well. And loaded magazines will not be too far away from troops with empty rifles fyi.

Americans scream tyranny makes you safer,
but actually the police state actually increases danger.

Now instead of worrying about criminals, you also need
to be avoid the Gestapo and terrorist bombings that are a response to tyranny.

Americans do not seem to understand that tyranny leads to having a dictator because everyone who is a danger is killed off.
