Rent/mortgage/taxes will eat that up quick and even if it doesn't bills, food, and other expenses will take care of the rest real quick. Quoting: Nighthaven Live in van or rent a room, gas, cell phone, gym membership, internet cafe, McDonalds coffee and breakfast burritos, What a life. At least you will have lots of time on your hands to get fit , and learn a street performing skill for tips. Could be a lot of fun if you are young. |

Rent/mortgage/taxes will eat that up quick and even if it doesn't bills, food, and other expenses will take care of the rest real quick. Quoting: Nighthaven My monthly budget (approx): rent $500 * food $50 ** utils $75 (gas/elec) internet $50 phone $25 car insur $125 car gas/maintain $50 *** food supps, protein, vites $50 misc, walking-around money $100 medical insur $0 **** TOTAL $1025 * live in housing co-op, effectively rent-controlled, so this helps a lot; otherwise would have to get place for ~$700 plus storage locker $50 ** very low b/c I now get most of my food free from aldi dumpsters. before that, it was about $200/month, but that was because I was not really being careful. With care, $150/month is enough, maybe $125. *** drive a 2005 beater. need to spend $300-600 every now and then for a repair. don't drive much. very little gas needed. Will have to replace the beater eventually, so maybe should be saving $50-75/month toward that. **** I take very good care of my health, plus have lots of knowledge about how to treat things myself; don't need doctors. Walk 5 miles/day, train with weights, eat good food, take supps = no need for doctors, pretty much. Last Edited by GLP Gadfly on 01/15/2021 10:44 AM GLP Gadfly |

It gives you the illusion of freedom, makes you trust, love, and defend your oppressor, while making an enemy of those who are trying to free you or open your eyes.” -Fiyah “None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.” -Johann Wolfgang von Goethe “You have been programmed to resist the very person that is here to set you free, from the prison of your Mind... You are not free... everything you are has been manufactured by Minds that have not your best interest. You are imprisoned by beliefs and not reality. Religions are mental programs to imprison your Mind.” -SOL |

So don't buy one. Save your $$ and buy something else, or don't even buy a vehicle. Use a bike or public transportation. I could write pages regarding such a plan, and how in theory it is fantastic, feasible, and just. Unfortunately, here in the real world it would not solve any problems on a large scale. For it to work you need a righteous people, and a righteous government. As it stands, this would enable the masses to feed their sloth, gluttony, and greed while TPTB would use it to further exert their power and control into it's citizens lives. In the long run it will create more problems than it solves. |
