A Melvin, Michigan resident named Maxx was trying to shoo away a stray cat she'd taken in when it went right for her face and sank in its claws

Surveillance video shows what Maxx says was her flailing around in the snow as the cat hangs from her face, its claws sunken deep into her skin

But the cat reacts and jumps around her, clinging to her head

'When I went to go pull, I could feel his teeth,' says Maxx, who had actually saved the cat from being put to sleep

I love and have 4 cats with 1 bein 90% indr...1 90% outdr with his own heated cathouse and 2 others that are 50 50 that come inside most nights to sleep when it's cold. I've had to chase some rowdy cats and a few dogs away and I use a spray bottle of vinegar...BUT if any of them attacked me like that I will kill that motherfucker DEAD. Same with any dogs around too. I love animals but will not tolerate bein attack by any of them especially on my own property. And yes...I'll do the same to the two legged variety of animal too.

Yup! Then it goes after the dog too. You people need to understand that cats HAVE NO FEAR once they get pissed. A cat will fight an alligator. They can, and will kill you. They are "mini-lions". That's what I always tell people. I almost lost an eye to a cat when I was a teen because I thought I could fight it. WRONG!

I had a feral cat that I had been feeding show up at my BBQ grill and while I was carrying a tray full back to the house he ran up and bit my leg trying to get me to drop the pan! I laughed so hard at his attempt. It wasn't that hard of a bite. Yes, he got some chicken later and he ended up being my cat for 4 years until he disappeared. :(

She looked like she was shooing it away. It was probably making her dog bark. Dusting snow at it wasn’t cruel or abusive. Get over your damn selves. I’ve been pegged with snowballs in the face. I mean something like that at a cat might be abuse, but brushing up some damn snow to shoo an animal away isn’t bad.

I would shoo a cat away if it tried to come into my yard because coming in my yard would be sudden death. Sadly my dog has killed several cats who’ve come in my backyard.

People need to keep their damn cats inside anyway. Cats are by far and away the most destructive animals on native bird species. They’ve wiped out whole species of birds in some places.

That was exactly what I saw too. That cat had something wrong with it. Thinking she probably had to get the rabies series. Cats are one of the bigger domesticated carriers of rabies because people just let these bird killers out and they aren’t even responsible enough to get their little monsters spayed, neutered, and vaccinated. Many Cat owners are as bad Pitbull owners...completely irresponsible.

Fact is that many places have animal control laws and even cats must be kept on a leash and under control at all times, it shouldn't have been roaming around.

Cats are pests, which screech, poop and spray all over property like homes, cars and more...

Another view point for all the dumbasses on here defending the cat. This article discusses the truth about what happened. If a crazy ass cat tries to come around my dog, it’s gonna end up dead. I would try to shoo it off too. She ended up with a nasty infection in her face because cats have filthy mouths and carry a myriad of nasty diseases.
