Doomsday jets seen leaving Omaha NE. Calling all Flight Tards! (repost)
Wednesday 1/13/2021, I was dropping my in laws off at Eppley Airport in Omaha. Around 11-11:30 am. I was looking out at the tarmac when I noticed a huge plane taking off. It had big blue stripe down the side and "United States of America" written on it. I also noticed that it had an unusual dome above and behind the cockpit. Shortly after another identical plane took off. I wasn't close enough to get any tail numbers

If they were "doomsday" Planes, why would they be taking off from a civilian airport and not Offutt AFB. I thought it was weird. I also noticed a military chinook just hovering around near the private jet hangers.

Please let me know your thoughts. My wife and i are a little weirded out by it. I need some answers!

I saw a plane just like you are describing landing at scott afb in Illinois about 6 weeks ago. At first thought it was air force one but it looked more like what you described.

Blackhawks flying over a few nights ago. E of Lake Winnebago in WI. There's nothing here but a nuke power plant farther north, and they didn't go that far.

185th refueling wing has also been doing low and slow flyovers near Sioux city IA. kind of weird.

Shit, it'a 10,000 ft runway. It can handle anything. A lot of times VIP's go into airports where there are no prying eyes. A car drives up, they get in and drive out the gates.

FBO's see all kind of shit so they don't typically care. They arrange fuel, catering but only if the the a/c stays on the ground. A lot of times the jet leaves then comes back to pick them up.

I worked for a Part 125 operator for numerous years. That sounds like a typical day for us.

Or since there is very little traffic there the pilots are doing touch and go's/training, etc.

I see Air Force 2 (C32's)in Memphis and Greensboro all the time because of that reason.
